Dream Chimney is excited to announce the release of the debut EP by Jilo "Into the Sunwinds"

Based out of Rennes, France, Jilo is both a producer and DJ as well as a general sonic explorer. During his engineering education, he discovered a passion for mixing computer science and music creation. Taking this idea a step further, he worked on a PhD in Computer Music, studying the structure of music and the generation of variations using algorithms. In addition to being a music nerd, he is also active on the local music scene and was artistic director for a music festival. He met and joined the “Rennes des Voyous” crew, a gang of true music lovers, DJs, curators and party organizers.

Jilo is deeply inspired by these various projects and musical exchanges. His music is infused by a wide variety of colors and styles, from atmospheric ambient, to dreamy house, passing by funky basslines, afro rhythms and disco energy. Despite the sometimes gray and wet weather in the northwest of France, the constant in his productions seems to be his warm, organic and balearic vibe.
